Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2025. Effective immediately for all visitors to https://www.fastoptioncalc.com.

Zero Server-Side Financial Data Tracking

FastOptionCalc is architected with a privacy-by-design approach. All financial calculations, custom strikes, contract quantities, trade premiums, and strategy configurations are computed 100% locally inside your client browser. We do not store, log, transmit, or monetize your portfolio positions, trades, or calculation inputs on our servers.

1. Information We Collect

We do not require account registration or collect personal identity information (such as your full name, physical address, or phone number) to utilize our options pricing tools.

  • Client-Side Local Storage: FastOptionCalc utilizes HTML5 LocalStorage in your browser to remember your last configured strategy setup between sessions. You can wipe this data at any time by clearing your browser cache.
  • Standard Server Logs: Like most static web hosts, our hosting provider automatically collects standard HTTP request headers, anonymized IP addresses, browser user-agents, and timestamp logs for server security and DDoS mitigation.

2. Cookies & Advertising Technologies (Google AdSense)

FastOptionCalc may display non-intrusive advertisements served by Google AdSense and its certified advertising partners to support free server hosting and continued tool development.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info or Google Ads Settings.

3. European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

If you are an individual residing in the European Economic Area (EEA), you possess specific legal rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, rectify, restrict, or erase any personal information held by us. Because we do not store personal account information, exercising these rights is straightforward. For inquiries, contact privacy@fastoptioncalc.com.

4. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA)

Under the CCPA and CPRA, California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request its deletion, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data. FastOptionCalc does NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information or financial calculation data to third-party data brokers.
